Mira had not one, not two, but three parties to celebrate her 2nd birthday. Because I ended up in the hospital over her birthday we were forced to improvise a couple of the celebrations. On Sunday, the Kuhls and Aunt Rekha came up and joined Grandma and Grandpa in throwing the previously-planned family party. Mira got her very own basketball hoop and the whole family had cupcakes. Her mother and I were sorry to miss it, but everyone that was there had a blast.
Two days later, on her actual birthday, Mira celebrated her 2nd birthday twice (how fitting). First, her friend Patty took Mira and Patty's two grandchildren to Bounce N' Play. After a fun time of playing in the balls, painting, etc. the whole crew headed to Whole Foods for lunch. Mira had a great time! That afternoon, Mira, Mommy, Aunt Rekha, Grandma, and Grandpa came to the hospital so I could celebrate with them. Mira opened presents and we all had cupcakes to finish the party.
