Katie's friends came to visit us the last weekend of September. Both of the women know Katie from soccer. JennO was a grad assistant during Katie's last year in college and then played with her on the New York Power. Sue was an assistant coach at UVa. JennO, her husband Justin, and their daughter Riley came on Friday, as did Sue and her youngest, Katie. We met them at a park that afternoon. Katie and Mira spent Saturday morning with them at UVa's practice and then everyone came to our house that evening. On Sunday we all watched the Hoos beat Maryland.
It was great to see them and it was especially fun seeing everyone with their kiddos. Watching Mira with baby Katie made us smile and think about what a great big sister she'll be! Click on the photo below to see the pictures in the album.
